Dr. Zheng Lei, Director of Economic Behaviour and China Policy Research Centre of INERI, concluded that the National Industrial Association and Chamber of Commerce has joined forces to support Hubei, which is very obvious for local enterprises to resume work and production. On the one hand, Industrial Associations and Chambers of Commerce can directly encourage related enterprises across the country to support counterparts in Hubei, and these foreign companies can efficiently “take goods” for Hubei enterprises through their upstream and downstream channels. On the other hand, the Industrial Associations and Chambers of Commerce have credibility, influence and appeal, which are bridge and link between the government and enterprises. Taking advantage of the unique advantages of rooting the industry and being close to the enterprise can quickly lead to mutual cooperation between enterprises.
